Keep the Festival Spirit Alive – Volunteer for Leigh Folk Festival 2027
Loved Leigh Folk Festival 2026? Help make it happen again in 2027 by volunteering with us.
Our volunteer team is at the heart of Leigh Folk Festival and quite simply, the festival could not happen without them. Every year an incredible group of people come together to create something special — helping keep the festival welcoming, enjoyable, safe and free for everyone to enjoy.
If you’ve enjoyed this year’s festival and would like to be part of bringing it back next year, why not register your interest now? We’d love to hear from you and we’ll be in touch in due course as plans for 2027 begin to take shape.
There are lots of ways to get involved, with roles including site build and break, artist support, selling merchandise and collecting donations, running information points, stewarding audiences, traffic management, production runners, tech support, photography and the less-than-glamorous but absolutely essential task of litter-picking — and plenty more besides.
While most volunteer opportunities take place across the festival weekend, some support is also needed in the lead-up and after the festival.
Typical shifts are around five hours, although many volunteers choose to get involved for longer.
Please note: under 18s are welcome to volunteer but must be accompanied and supported by a parent, guardian or carer on any specific shift in line with safeguarding requirements.
Put your name down today and help keep the music, community and festival spirit alive for 2027.
Drop us an email with you name and age and we’ll be in touch!
