Leigh Folk Arts urgently needs your support to cover rising costs and keep the UK’s largest free folk festival alive.

Each year, it costs over £50,000 to run Leigh Folk Festival. Like many charities, we’re feeling the pressure of increasing costs and limited fundraising opportunities.

For over 30 years, the festival has brought free music, dance, and spoken word to over 8,000 people annually—supporting emerging artists and creating a vibrant, inclusive space for all ages. It’s powered by a dedicated team of volunteers and run by Leigh Folk Arts, a local charity committed to celebrating folk culture.
